Apple Pushes Back Release of New AI Features, Set to Arrive After Initial iPhone and iPad Updates

Bloomberg News reported that Apple’s highly anticipated artificial intelligence features will be delayed and will not be available with the initial updates for iPhone and iPad software.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is set to introduce its new AI features through software updates expected to roll out by October. These AI enhancements will be available a few weeks after the initial releases of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, which are scheduled for September.

Apple is preparing to offer early access to its Apple Intelligence features for developers starting this week. These capabilities will be available through the beta versions of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, according to the report.

Apple has not yet answered demands for input made beyond customary business hours.

In June, Apple highlighted its focus on artificial intelligence by introducing a range of new features and software updates for the iPhone and other devices, aiming to boost its declining sales.

Mac Insight, intended to create message, pictures, and other substance utilizing computer based intelligence, will be open on the iPhone 15 Star, iPhone 15 Master Max, and iPads and Macintoshes furnished with the M1 chip or later. Also, the new iPhone Reflecting component in macOS Sequoia empowers clients to see and cooperate with their iPhone screen straightforwardly from their Macintosh PCs.

This news follows Apple’s decision in late June to postpone the rollout of three new AI features. The delay is due to new landmark tech regulations from the European Union, which mandate that Apple must ensure compatibility with competing products and services before launching these features.
