Two Children Killed in ‘Ferocious’ Stabbing at UK Dance Event; 17-Year-Old Arrested
NewsPolice in the United Kingdom reported that two children were killed and nine others injured in a stabbing at a dance school event. As of Tuesday, six of the injured children were in critical condition, along with two adults who were also stabbed.
According to Chief Constable Serena Kennedy, the adults were hurt while trying to protect the children.

Police have captured a 17-year-old kid on doubt of homicide and endeavored murder. They explained that the episode isn’t being viewed as fear related and that no extra suspects are being sought after. The intention behind the assault stays indistinct.
Police were called not long before early afternoon to a wounding at a scene on Hart Road in Southport, a coastline town around 20 miles north of Liverpool. As per Merseyside Police, the assault happened during a Taylor Quick themed occasion.
After showing up at the scene, officials were staggered by the ‘fierce’ idea of the assault, as indicated by Boss Constable Serena Kennedy.

U.K. Top state leader Keir Starmer called the episode ‘appalling and profoundly surprising.
On social media, he expressed his condolences, saying, ‘My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy. I want to extend my gratitude to the police and emergency services for their quick response. I’m receiving regular updates as the situation unfolds.’
King Charles and Queen Camilla expressed their deep shock at the ‘utterly horrific incident’ in Southport, saying they were ‘profoundly shocked.’
In a statement, they offered their heartfelt condolences, prayers, and deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to everyone impacted by this appalling attack.

Southport is located in Merseyside, in northwest England. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, hails from Banks, a coastal village in Lancashire near Southport.
He originally came from Cardiff, Wales, according to police.
